Privacy Policy
UdharPay helps shopkeepers manage customers, transactions, reminders, reports, AI tools, and subscriptions. This page explains what information we collect, why we use it, how we protect it, and how you can control or delete it.
Your shop data is stored on your device first. Cloud sync is optional.
Photos, exports, backup, microphone, and notifications are used only when you choose those features.
Subscriptions are processed through Google Play. UdharPay does not store your full card details.
1. Information we collect
We collect information needed to run the app and provide support.

2. How we use your information
- Run the core ledger, reminder, backup, and reporting features.
- Authenticate your account and sync cloud data when you sign in.
- Verify subscriptions on the backend and restore purchases securely.
- Provide AI chat, AI voice, and other premium features when enabled by your plan.
- Show ads to eligible free-plan users.
- Investigate bugs, security issues, billing problems, and support requests.
3. Permissions and sensitive access
Permissions you may see
- Camera or photos for customer photos, payment proof, and backup handling
- Microphone for voice AI features
- Notifications for reminders and account alerts
- Internet access for cloud sync, AI, billing, and support services
How permission data is handled
- Permissions are requested only when a related feature is used.
- You can revoke permissions in Android settings at any time.
- If you refuse a permission, the related feature may stop working, but the rest of the app can still be used.
4. Storage, sync, and security
- Primary app data is stored locally on your device.
- When you enable cloud features, synced data is stored in Firebase services linked to your account.
- Subscription status is verified from the backend and is not trusted only from device-local values.
- Local cache may be used to improve performance, but premium access is designed to fall back safely if verification fails long-term.

6. Your choices and rights
- You can review and edit your business data inside the app.
- You can export reports and backups where your plan allows it.
- You can disable cloud usage by signing out or turning off sync features you do not want to use.
- You can contact support to ask privacy questions.
- You can delete your account using the in-app delete flow.
7. Account deletion and data retention
When you request account deletion, UdharPay is designed to remove your user profile and linked cloud data from our backend, subject to limited retention for fraud prevention, billing disputes, legal compliance, or security investigation when required.
If deletion needs recent login confirmation, the app may ask you to sign in again with OTP before the delete action completes.
8. Children
UdharPay is intended for business use and is not directed to children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this page when the app changes, when Play policy requirements change, or when our data practices change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
